This clavichord was restored in 1969. The original straight bass end had been changed and was replaced by a new curved end at the restoration. String thicknesses and string materials used for the calculation of the string tensions are those chosen at the restoration.

If tangents are adjusted for a tuning in quarter-comma meantone they are close to vertical. This makes it probable that this was the tuning intended by the maker.
